TRUCK ALIGNMENT
Wheel alignment, also called car tracking, is a vital part of the smooth and safe running of your car.
Misalignment can occur as a result of hitting the kerb or a bump in the road and can have a detrimental effect on your wheel balance, grip and control and can also cause premature wear to your tyres.
WHEEL BALANCING
Tyre balance, also referred to as tire unbalance or imbalance, describes the distribution of mass within an automobile tire or the entire wheel (including the rim) to which it is attached.
When the wheel rotates, asymmetries of mass may cause it to hop or wobble, which can cause ride disturbances, usually vertical and lateral vibrations.
It can also result in a wobbling of the steering wheel or of the entire vehicle. The ride disturbance, due to unbalance, usually increases with speed.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Car batteries are something we all take for granted, we put the key in the ignition, turn it and in an instant it sparks our engine to life. But what happens when your car battery fails, when it's stone cold dead, your car is stuck outside your home or workplace and you're going nowhere?

LOCK NUT REMOVAL
Lock nut removal by Ballysimon Tyre Centre.
A lock nut is the nut on each wheel that can only be removed with a unique socket that acts as a key to secure your alloy wheels.
Sometimes people may misplace this key and this will result in the inability to remove the alloy from the car.
At Ballysimon Tyre Centre we specialise in the removal of these nuts without the key.
